phpBB Modders

Good to see familiar projects coming back to life.

I guess we all love phpBB.
Only issue that i see about current state of development, is that we are still in 3.3.x branch.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to talk about main project & its state.
What I mean is that i prefer to develop extensions for master branch of phpBB.
But I do understand why many contribute to 3.2.x-3.3.x.

I hope this project will get a lot of fresh blood.

The master branch brings a lot of changes to the code and is constantly changing. It would not be in our best interest to develop for unreleased versions of phpBB; especially versions still in Dev/Alpha stage.

Thanks for posting/comments. I would of posted earlier when I approved the post, but I have felt pretty bad most of the day. The last few hours were the first all day, where all I didn't want to do was sleep.

There is a possibility that next version may be released this year. And that is way I switched to master. One thing to add is that master has updated symfony components (not latest, but still better than 3.4) and twig. Yes, we can use php 8 attributes in 3.3.x, but I want to take max out of symfony components, but not that easy to make oit work with routes. That's why everything that is lower than master, is not good.

Yeah.. I'm from Estland .. I live near capital, in a avg size city. But there are moments when I think about moving to Japan.
Too much political drama in my current country.. It's like living in sandbox where kindegarten kids can't share toys with each other.

Few days ago.. I realized that I really don't like to do any design part.. Specially if it's related to javascript
